What is Bacopa monnieri (L)?

Bacopa monnieri also known as Brahmi, is found throughout in India. Bhrahmi is a small creeping perennial with numerous branches and small, oblong, relatively thick leaves which are arranged opposite to each other on the stem. Flowers of this plants are small and white and light purple with four to five petals.
